Full Description:

A subcontractor will be shimming and making repairs to the bridge locks and live load shoes and doing deck welding at night from 9:00PM to 6:00Am on Monday July 21, 2008 through Wednesday July 23, 2008. Variable message boards will be deployed 1 week in advance, advising of the delays and all local emergency response teams will be notified. The operations will work like this: when the first car rolls up to the closing gates, a timer will run for 20 minutes; at that point the operation will stop and traffic will be permitted to pass. If emergency vehicles need to pass, please call the drawbridge and advise the bridge tender as soon as possible. Bridge telephone number is 727-866-1065.
