The following is an update on the activities of FLORIDA HOMEOWNERS FOR FAIR TREATMENT. We continue to urge your support of this very critical activity for a large number of Tierra Verde homeowners. Terri Pentek and her team have put in countless hours to move the ball ahead and begin the legislative process, which will culminate next May.
As we move into October various legislative committee deliberations will be starting shortly. The FHFT website has a new message that is addressed to the Environmental Preservation and Conservation Committee (Senate side). When you go to the website and enter your information the Committee members as well as their legislative assistants and the staff director will be getting the message.Your local legislators (that received the last message) will also be included in this update. It is important that we keep sending the message to all legislators.
All you need to do is enter your name, address, etc. and hit the 'SEND' key. IT IS VITAL THAT EVERYONE GO TO THE WEBSITE AND SEND THE MESSAGE AS YOU RECEIVE THESE UPDATES!!! If these committees do not hear from us repeatedly they will not address the problem aggressively. Your input is essential. Please continue to spread the word and have your friends and neighbors send the message. It only takes a minute and your time spent now could literally save you thousands later.
