The next meeting of the Tierra Verde Community Association will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010, at the TVCA office, starting at 6:00 PM, 1275 Pinellas Bayway, (Mercantile Bank building, 2nd Floor) Tierra Verde, FL 33715.
The TVCA Board will be presented with plans for a new Community Recreation Center building proposed to be constructed at the Rec Complex south of the parking lot. The new building will house the TVCA office and will have facilities to host community events.
If the Board approves the plan, it will be presented to the TVCA membership at an open meeting in the next two weeks.
In addition to the standard committee reports, the following will also be on the agenda:
The Board will elect their officers for the current year; a discussion on the new fire truck being ordered for Tierra Verde; need for a volunteer to join the County Bicycle Advisory Committee; and, a replacement to assume a position on the Sheriff’s Neighborhood Watch program.
